Robotics and automation engineering, from one joint to the whole machine.

End effectors, tool changers, gantries, robot bases and the frames around them, for automation teams and robotics companies across the US. Our founder’s background includes robotics and 3D printer engineering at ULC Robotics and MakerBot.

What we build

From one joint to the whole machine.

Motion systemsGantries, linear stages and rotary joints sized for load, speed and stiffness.
Actuators & drivesFrameless motor and servo drive integration, from selection to a working joint.
End effectors & tool changersGrippers, latches and quick-change mechanisms that repeat every cycle.
Frames, panels & enclosuresSheet metal, die-cast and molded structures designed for assembly and service.
How we de-risk

Prove the motion before you buy the parts.

Robots fail at the joints, the cables and the tolerances. We test those early on printed and machined prototypes in our lab, then lock the design.

  • 01Load, torque and stiffness calcs before CAD is final
  • 02Tolerance stack-ups on every moving interface
  • 03Bench tests of joints, latches and drives in our lab
  • 04Lifetime and cycle testing before production
A typical engagement

Phases with a cap on each.

POC · FeasibilityArchitecture, motor and drive selection, a working test rig.
EVT · DesignFull CAD, first engineering units, design review.
DVT · VerificationCycle tests, accuracy checks, revisions.
PVT · HandoffDFM-final CAD, drawings, BOM, vendor handoff.
Questions

Before you reach out.

Can you join a team that already has engineers?

Yes. We often take one subsystem, like a joint, gripper or frame, and work inside your CAD, tools and reviews.

Do you do electrical and controls?

Mechanical is our core. We integrate motors, drives and sensors, and bring in electrical and firmware engineers when a project needs a custom board.

Can you build the prototype?

Yes. Printed, machined and assembled in our Kearny lab, then tested before it ships to you.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes. Check the NDA box on the estimate form and we sign before reading anything confidential.
