A crowdfunding campaign sets a hard clock. The light had to perform well, fit on a monitor and be buildable in small quantities without production tooling budgets.
How we approached it.
Mechanical development
We engineered the complete prototype, from the light bar housing to the mounting hardware.
Prototype rounds
Several builds took the design from early mechanical assemblies to refined prototypes that proved form, fit and function.
Testing
We defined torque and performance test protocols for the mount and hinge.
