A soap shredder that turns bar soap into flakes, hands-free.
Eco Soapr wanted an appliance that shreds bar soap into single-use flakes. We designed it from concept sketches through CMF, the shredding mechanism, electronics and a production-intent housing.

Bar soap, without the mess.
The product had to grate a bar of soap reliably, dispense hands-free, sit on a counter or mount to a wall, and be simple enough to build at a sellable cost.
How we approached it.
We explored stands, wall mounts and head shapes on paper, then picked one direction with the client.
We rendered the design in several colorways and finishes to settle the final look.
A motor and gear train drive twin cutter rollers that grate the bar. We engineered the module and its housing around it.
A sensor triggers the shredder, with a status LED and USB-C charging built into the head.
We took the design through many CAD revisions, planning the parts for molding, die-cast and sheet metal, and prepared packaging.
Load a bar, close the lid.
