A rolling record cart, from CAD to the record market.
Needle to Wax sells records at events and needed a cart that rolls in, opens up and displays the crates. We designed it, released it with a full fabrication package, and the carts are now in use at record markets.

From CAD to the street.

A store that packs up and rolls.
The cart had to hold and display records by genre, survive being moved between events, and lock up when the event ends.
How we approached it.
Welded frame
A steel-tube frame carries the load and keeps the cart rigid on the move.
Sheet-metal panels
Bent sheet-metal panels form the bays and the display front.
Doors and casters
Hinged locking doors secure the stock, and casters make it easy to roll.
Fabrication drawings
We released a full drawing package the fabricator could quote and build from.
