An IP69K enclosure that survives high-pressure washdowns.

Stickerguard needed a guard that keeps IFTA fuel tax stickers on trucks readable through weather and pressure washing. We designed the enclosure and took it through DFM and vendor management into production.

IP69K rugged enclosure holding an IFTA fuel tax sticker on a red truck door
The brief

All weather, all washdowns.

Trucks have to display IFTA stickers, and road grime and high-pressure washing wear them out. Stickerguard wanted a guard rated for all-weather operation and IP69K high-pressure washdown, simple enough to install on any truck door.

What we did

From design to a supplier-ready part.

Enclosure design

An acrylic and aluminum enclosure sealed for IP69K washdown while keeping the sticker visible.

Design for manufacturing

Parts adjusted to the supplier’s processes so the guard could be built at a sellable cost.

Vendor management

We handled the technical back and forth with the vendor through to production parts.

The result
IP69Khigh-pressure washdown rating
